People of Purpose (POP) Groups are an effective method of relational and spiritual growth that partners with the Holy Spirit, employs one another’s spiritual gifts, and exercises your faith together.
POP stands for People of Purpose. A POP Group is a group of 3-5 people committed to getting together regularly for fellowship and prayer. It begins much like any group of friends getting together, talking life, sharing stories, struggles, and victories; where this group shines is in taking the time to get quiet, listening to the Holy Spirit for direction over what was shared, seeking His revelation, and then praying over and affirming each other.
In addition to the value of the consistent opportunities of receiving prayer for oneself, POP Groups also empower members to practice their individual giftings, with the support of the group’s combined faith, resulting in deeper intimacy, friendship, and spiritual growth.
Praying in a POP Group isn’t about reading through lists of prayer requests or irrelevant scriptures. We start from the premise of listening to welcome the Holy Spirit’s direction.

As you learn how to hear and respond to the Holy Spirit, there is opportunity to practice within the training in a non-threatening, non-judgemental space while you build your confidence in prayer.
